Medical Aid in Dying Hearing

HB140’s public hearing in the Senate Executive Committee has been officially scheduled for Wednesday, April 9th at 2:00PM EST.

To testify in person: 

• Email me directly letting me know you want to participate. If you have already contacted me about testifying, no further action is needed. 
• Arrive at the Capitol (411 Legislative Ave., Dover DE 19901) by 1:30PM on 4/9/25 and be prepared with 2 minute and 1 minute versions of your testimony. Let me know if you have any questions or need help beforehand. 

To testify virtually: 

• Sign up HERE. 
• Upon clicking the link listed above, you will be directed to a webpage where you will be required to enter a few pieces of info, like your name and contact information. After submitting the required information, you will receive an email containing the virtual meeting link and meeting ID. This email also includes options to join the meeting via telephone. Be sure not to lose this Zoom link, as C&C staff will not be able to help you locate it! 

To submit written testimony: 

• Written remarks may be submitted to the Executive Committee’s email address at SenateExecutive@delaware.gov. Public comment provided in writing will be accepted prior to the committee meeting and up to 24 hours after the meeting has adjourned. All written public comments will be made part of the official record. There is no limit in length for written testimony.
